Built in 1814, the clock tower has become the symbol of Tryavna. The tower was built by the local population, and legend has it that in order to allow its construction, Trevna women were forced to give up their traditional headdresses called sokai.
The Daska House, or known as the Wood Carving Museum, is one of the most significant things to visit in Tryavna. On the first floor of the house there are several exhibitions, and on the upper floor are the rooms with the well-known sun ceilings.
